The hardware of the fingerprint access control system is mainly composed of a microprocessor, a fingerprint recognition module, a liquid crystal display module, a keyboard, a real-time clock/calendar chip, an electric control lock, and a power supply. As the upper computer of the system, the microprocessor controls the entire system. The fingerprint recognition module mainly completes the functions of fingerprint feature collection, comparison, storage, and deletion. The liquid crystal display module is used to display information such as door opening records, real-time clock and operation prompts, and it also forms a man-machine interface with the keyboard.
According to system functions, the software of the fingerprint access control system is mainly composed of a fingerprint processing module, a liquid crystal display module, a real-time clock module, and a keyboard scanning module. The fingerprint processing module is mainly responsible for the information processing of commands and return codes between the microprocessor and the fingerprint recognition module; the liquid crystal display module writes a driver program according to the timing of the liquid crystal display module to achieve the purpose of displaying Chinese characters and unicodes; the real-time clock module writes communication programs according to the timing of the clock chip to realize the operations of reading and writing on the clock chip; the keyboard scanning module writes a keyboard program according to the design principle of the keyboard to identify whether there is a key action and the pressed key number.
According to the operation process, the software of the fingerprint access control system is mainly composed of four parts: fingerprint opening program, fingerprint management program, password management program and system setting program. Among them, fingerprint management program, password management program and system setting program are three parts that only can be operated by the administrator. The fingerprint management program consists of four parts: the fingerprint recording template program, the fingerprint deletion template program, the fingerprint clearing template program, and the door opening record browsing program; the password management program consists of two parts: the password modification program and the password opening program; the system setting program consists of two parts: time setting program and date setting program.
